LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – A prosecutor of the lads generally known as the “Central Park 5” mentioned a brand new Netflix Inc collection about their rape conviction and exoneration defames her with false details about how the case unfolded and her position in it.

Linda Fairstein, who has come beneath renewed scrutiny because the debut of “When They See Us” on Could 31, wrote in an op-ed revealed on Tuesday within the Wall Road Journal that the dramatic collection is “so stuffed with distortions and falsehoods as to be an outright fabrication.”
