British Airways is getting ready to cancel flights on a minimum of 5 consecutive days in September following the announcement of strike motion by pilots.

Members of employees represented by the British Airline Pilots Affiliation (Balpa) will take industrial motion on September ninth, 10th and 27th in a dispute over pay.

Following the announcement, some clients flying between September eighth -12th have been advised their flight has been cancelled.

In an announcement, British Airways stated: “It’s utterly unacceptable that Balpa is destroying the journey plans of tens of hundreds of our clients with this unjustifiable strike motion.
