HONG KONG (Reuters) – Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd (0293.HK) has put a freeze on new hiring, in keeping with an inside memo seen by Reuters, because the airline battles a droop in demand from fliers avoiding Hong Kong amid large anti-government protests within the metropolis.
